Work selected for the front cover of Advanced Energy Materials. The image shows a 2D perovskite crystal in an external magnetic field, revealing the heterogenous nature of exciton emission. The study represents the first demonstration of using magneto-optical microscopy to characterize metal halide perovskites and reveals key implications for the development of optoelectronics utilising these materials.
